Events Roundup Here is a partial list of upcoming cultural events in Coral Gables. May 2 – 3 The South Florida Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is holding its annual Zimmerman MS Bike Ride. The two-day bike ride, which raises funds to find a cure for the disease, will start at the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami Coral Gables campus at 7 a.m. The route takes riders from Coral Gables to Key Largo and back. May 9 – 10 The Tropical Flowering Tree Society will hold a Tropical Flowering Tree Show and Sale at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. On display will be some of the most beautiful and colorful trees, shrubs and vines in the tropical world. Experts and growers will be on hand to answer questions and give advice. The event takes place at the garden, 10901 Old Cutler Road, from 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Adults pay $20 for admission and $15 for seniors and $10 for children ages 6 through 17. of Havana Bourgeois. This dramatic play explores the impact of Fidel Castro’s
Revolution on the Cuban middle class. Relive this compelling moment in history as seen
through the eyes of the people who lived it. Performances will take place Wednesdays through
Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. with an additional matinee on Wednesday, May
20th at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $40 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sunday matinee, $48 for Friday

While walking through the lush tropical garden, take note of the magnificent sculptures that grace the landscape. Sculptures from Mark di Suvero, Kris Martin, Fernando Botero, Dale Chihuly and Daisy Youngblood can be found at the garden, 10901 Old Cutler Road.
